Insomniac Posted April 9, 2009 ID:71744 Share Posted April 9, 2009 Ok, here's the deal. I don't really think that I'm infected, but my sister just told me somthing that had happened a while ago that I was clueless as to how it had happened. She had been sent one of those stupid fowarded chain emails through hotmail. However, when she looked at the list of email addresses that had accumulated at the top of the email, she noticed her email password written next to her address. I have no idea how this could have happened and just want to verify there's nothing nasty running on the pc.This was a while ago and she only mentioned it now, so it may well have been before our last format, which would have course killed it. Then again, it might have been after. If you see nothing here then just close the topic as there's no sign of an infection other than this one odd, distant incident. Thanks Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.36Database version: 1955Windows 5.1.2600 Service Pack 39/04/2009 10:04:55 PMmbam-log-2009-04-09 (22-04-55).txtScan type: Quick ScanObjects scanned: 94578Time elapsed: 7 minute(s), 10 second(s)Memory Processes Infected: 0Memory Modules Infected: 0Registry Keys Infected: 0Registry Values Infected: 0Registry Data Items Infected: 0Folders Infected: 0Files Infected: 0Memory Processes Infected:(No malicious items detected)Memory Modules Infected:(No malicious items detected)Registry Keys Infected:(No malicious items detected)Registry Values Infected:(No malicious items detected)Registry Data Items Infected:(No malicious items detected)Folders Infected:(No malicious items detected)Files Infected:(No malicious items detected)Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2Scan saved at 10:58:02 PM, on 9/04/2009Platform: Windows XP SP3 (WinNT 5.01.2600)MSIE: Internet Explorer v7.00 (7.00.6000.16791)Boot mode: NormalRunning processes:C:\WINDOWS\System32\smss.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exeC:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\ZoneLabs\vsmon.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv.exec:\program files\common files\logitech\lvmvfm\LVPrcSrv.exeC:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\bin\AppleMobileDeviceService.exeC:\PROGRA~1\AVG\AVG8\avgwdsvc.exeC:\Program Files\Bonjour\mDNSResponder.exeC:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exeC:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\jqs.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\nvsvc32.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exeC:\PROGRA~1\AVG\AVG8\avgrsx.exeC:\PROGRA~1\AVG\AVG8\avgnsx.exeC:\PROGRA~1\AVG\AVG8\avgemc.exeC:\Program Files\AVG\AVG8\avgcsrvx.exeC:\Program Files\iPod\bin\iPodService.exeC:\WINDOWS\Explorer.EXEC:\WINDOWS\AGRSMMSG.exeC:\WINDOWS\RTHDCPL.EXEC:\Program Files\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm\zlclient.exeC:\PROGRA~1\AVG\AVG8\avgtray.exeC:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunesHelper.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\RUNDLL32.EXEC:\WINDOWS\system32\LVCOMSX.EXEC:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\jusched.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\ctfmon.exeC:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exeC:\Program Files\Google\GoogleToolbarNotifier\GoogleToolbarNotifier.exeC:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\WMPNSCFG.exeC:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger\msnmsgr.exeC:\Program Files\Windows Live\Contacts\wlcomm.exeC:\Documents and Settings\Administration\My Documents\HiJackThis\HiJackThis.exeR1 -
