I have had this virus for quite some time, now. It started as any virus normally starts: surprise! I am a PC gamer and, one day, my computer received a ton of lag. I opened up task manager and saw I was using 90% CPU. After some searching, I found some partial solutions to my problem (Most of them telling me to buy an antivirus, which I had and still do not have any money for) and another told me to simply suspend the process. It worked for quite a while, but it seems it's begun to worsen. I, now, have to be fast about suspending the process or I will be forced to restart my laptop. Did some more searching the other day and ran into a thread from this site wherein someone else had the same problem and an admin helped them through it step by step. I would like to receive the same help, if at all possible. I also have suspicion that there may be more than just the WmiPrvSE virus on my computer. Hopefully we can help solve this/these problems together!

  • Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  • Press Scan button.
  • It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please copy and paste it to your reply.
  • The first time the tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt). Please attach it to your reply.
