kmcroton Posted December 9, 2013 ID:762366 Share Posted December 9, 2013 I've been using Malwarebytes for over two years but I'm having issues with the latest update. I keep getting "program error, 0,0,1 timeout error message. I've uninstalled and re-installed but still get the same error message. I've attached the following files:attach.txt, CheckResults.txt, dds.txt. It says I'm 248 days out of date so can someone please help? Thank you. daledoc1 Posted December 9, 2013 ID:762412 Share Posted December 9, 2013 Hi, kmcroton: Sorry you are having trouble updating MBAM. Until one of the staff arrives to review your logs... It looks as if you have a proxy set -- if you did not intentionally set it, it could be a sign of infection. It also looks as if you also have some PUPs/adware/malware (e.g. ScorpionSaver)? Under the circumstances, it mightt be a good idea to head over to the malware removal section to have someone look into your issues with you.I would suggest that you please follow the recommendations in this pinned topic: Available Assistance For Possibly Infected Computers. One of the experts will guide you through the scanning and cleanup process. They will also help you to get MBAM updating and running properly.Thanks,daledoc1

daledoc1 Posted December 10, 2013 ID:762582 Share Posted December 10, 2013 Hi, AdvancedSetup: It appears that kmcroton has 2 separate topics over in the malware removal section (with different logs in each)? (As of the moment, there is no helper for either one, yet.)https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=138048&hl= (DDS logs)https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=138060&hl= (AdwCleaner & SystemLook logs) @ kmcroton: AdvancedSetup will likely merge your topics into 1 post. Please be patient and wait for a helper to assist you there -- the malware removal forum can be quite busy, and many of the helpers are volunteers. One of the experts will help you as soon as someone is available. Thanks for your patience, daledoc1
