Malwarebytes says "a scan is in progress", but seems done. (bug?)

Infected Registry Data Item

...I right-clicked the item (which in my case was "disabled.UpdatesDisableNotify), and selected "Add to Ignore List".

After that, I clicked the "Exit" button. Malwarebytes then gave me a popup message, "A scan is in progress. Are you sure you want to close Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware?" However, I thought the scan was done already (the text output seemed to indicate it). Also, I have a *very* fast computer (AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual-core 5200+ processor, and 8 GB of memory, and a fairly optimized system -- I explicity control what services are allowed to run. Plus, I left it running while I left the house to take care of some things (I was gone almost 2 hours).

When I do this with my antivirus (Avast!), it *will* wait for a reply from me when it finds something questionable before it will continue scanning. However, the scan output seemed to indicate the scan was done and that it had only found 1 item. There is no text in the "Scanner" tab of Malwarebytes indicating it is currently doing anything. Is this message a bug? I am choosing "yes" (I want to exit the scan) for now, and hope I am right and that I am not interrupting something the software needs to do.
