princetongrad24 Posted November 25, 2013 ID:757676 Share Posted November 25, 2013 it seems like mwb updates the database about 30 times per day...that is crazy! btw, had a question, my full scan does about 360k files, but i notice that the first 160 are done very slowly, and then from 161-360k they all get scanned within 3 seconds..is this normal, and are they getting properly scanned? Yes we update about 10-15 times a day. This allows us to stay on top of brand new emerging threats so once we get them it takes a few hours and not a day or so like some avs take to have protection against them.
