Pro licence ID and Key invalid

Recently I reinstalled Windows 7 64 bit to my computer, and now am attempting to restore my Mbam Pro for which I have both the ID and Key. I have input the details carefully from the card supplied, but each time activation fails, because my input data is considered invalid.

Can you tell me why this should be happening and what I need do to cure problem? Plesaw!

Sorry you are having trouble activating your reinstalled MBAM PRO.

 

Most often, this is due to a "typo" when coping the ID or key, substituting a "0" for a "O" or a "I" for a "1", etc.

I would suggest that you please start with the info in this KB topic: It says 'Invalid license information' when I try to activate the software.

You might also find this video helpful: How to Activate the PRO Version

 

If those suggestions don't work, you might try a clean uninstall and reinstall.

Directions for that are explained here: MBAM Clean Removal Process (select Option 1).

Be sure to reboot the system after you run the removal tool, before attempting to reinstall the program.

 

If none of that works, you'll need to contact the entity from which you purchased your MBAM PRO license to obtain your ID/key.

If that's the case, please let us know where you bought it -- it sounds as if you purchased a boxed CD, rather than an online download purchase from MBAM's reseller, Cleverbridge?

I cannot recall from which supplier I got the Pro version, but after removing as per article, and downloading current pro version activation was successful. Thank you.
