Good afternoon and Happy Halloween week ;)  I need assistance from the best of the best so here goes.  I use interchangeably the IE 7, 64-bit and Google Chrome.  I imported my IE homepage onto my Google Nexus 10 homepage also.  I find that my system is running slower and slower, however the largest problem is that my Toshiba freezes up constantly.  I believe the Google freezes more than IE, however it is hard to say b/c it fluctuates.

I ran the Microsoft Sysinternals Autoruns from http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx.  I had trouble locating the options file and stooping with ESC and restarting, I hope it is good enough for your viewing.  I attached a compressed zipped file of this, the Autoruns.arn file and would like you to analyze the log and advise what startups you may suggest I disable.  Thank you so very much, I will look forward to any advice on the above and anything else as well.  AutoRuns (3).zip

Hello ladykaren13 and :welcome:
Please run the following scanner and send back the logs.

Download DDS from one of the locations below and save to your Desktop

Temporarily disable any script blocker if your Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware has it.
How To Temporarily Disable Your Anti-virus, Firewall And Anti-malware Programs

Once downloaded you can disconnect from the Internet and disable your Ant-Virus temporarily if needed.
Then double click dds.scr or dds.com to run the tool.
Click the Run button if prompted with an Open File - Security Warning dialog box.
A black DOS console should open and run for a moment.

  • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
    • DDS.txt
    • Attach.txt
  • Save both reports to your desktop
  • Please include the following logs in your next reply as an attachment: DDS.txt and Attach.txt
  • You can ignore the note about zipping the Attach.txt file and just post it or attach it.
