Could This Error Be Related To Piracy Issue

I downloaded MBAM from MBAM originally and it worked find the first 2 times then it showed an error message about a "Line" with no#'s at the end . I updated from MG site thinking that was the prob. It still comes up w/error(different no#'s) and when I try to find the file it comes up that it can not find it. could they have been pirated?
