bat1939 Posted October 17, 2013 ID:743048 Share Posted October 17, 2013 I know that there is an option for hiding the app icon but can there also be an option to hide the pull down notification that says "Crushes Malware. Restores Confidence."? I have found a way to turn this off, just go Settings>Apps>Malwarebytes under Android and uncheck the Show Notification. However if you do this you will not be told if something is wrong with your system.
Administrators celee Posted October 17, 2013 Administrators ID:743201 Share Posted October 17, 2013 Hi Bat1939, Welcome to the Malwarebytes Public Forum! What you stated above does indeed hide Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Mobile from notification area. If you do hide MBAM Mobile notification, you won't be able to see notifications like "<appname> is not harmful" But if an app is harmful, there is a pop-up for immediate user action. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

wbaran Posted December 1, 2017 ID:1188100 Share Posted December 1, 2017 Has this change been made? I purchased premium so I could hide this notification. I don't want to pay for an app that ruins it's utility by being annoying.
Staff Vabadus Posted December 15, 2017 Staff ID:1191786 Share Posted December 15, 2017 @wbaran, updates are coming in a week, when updated please go to Settings --> Notifications.
