HH10Help.dat false positive?

Recommended Posts

Just run MBAR and it reported the following:

File C:\Windows\System32\drivers\HH10Help.dat will be destroyed
Infected: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\HH10Help.dat --> [Rootkit.Agent]
I ignored this because the file is required by Virtual CD which I have installed.
I believe this is a false positive, but how can it be confirmed?

The file you uploaded to Virustotal is a 0 bytes file, which means it was locked/in use during the upload to Virustotal which results in a 0 bytes file.

But I believe I found the culprit of this detection, so please try later after a database update if this file is still detected.
