In honor of Mental Health Awareness month, watch the full documentary film Ernie & Joe: Crisis Cops, which follows San Antonio, Texas police officers Ernie Stevens and Joe Smarro and their daily encounters with people in crisis. The film documents how their innovative approach to policing – which takes mental health into account – is having a dramatic effect on the way police respond to these challenges.

If you use a VPN such as Malwarebytes Privacy, you can probably change your location to allow you to view the content.  At least that's the impression I got from the main page here: https://www.malwarebytes.com/vpn/

I've been watching The Simpsons

I haven't watched it in years so I decided to go back and watch all the early seasons (which were the best, at least in my opinion).

Stingray, a classic 80's action show in the same vein as Knight Rider and the like, but with it's own unique style and very clever writing with a protagonist that helps people in need, asking only that they pay by doing a favor for the protagonist down the road to help someone else in need when called upon.  It's sort of like Pay It Forward meets Batman:

Godzilla: King of the Monsters

Best kaiju film EVER (at least so far until Godzilla vs Kong comes out, especially if it features Mechagodzilla and/or Mecha-King Ghidorah as I suspect it will).  Best giant monster fights/action ever captured on film, even better than Shin Godzilla, Kong: Skull Island or the 2014 Godzilla, this movie is currently my absolute favorite and I can (and have) watch it over and over again.  It is the giant monster movie/Godzilla movie I have always dreamed of but never really got, until now.  Thank you Toho for giving a US film company another chance after the Godzilla 98 debacle (though I still enjoy that film, just not as an actual Godzilla film because all he does is eat, run away and hide the whole time until the very end) and Legendary Pictures and the writers and directors they have chosen have really done the character and Toho's legacy justice, particularly so in this latest installment which includes more references and nods to Godzilla's varied history and films of the past than you can shake a stick at:

Here's a video compiling much of the monster action from the Monsterverse, including King of the Monsters, though I still highly recommend actually seeing the full film, which has some of the best CGI special effects I've ever seen, with beautiful use of composition and color:

The story in the 3rd Monsterverse film builds on the elements established in the previous 2, so if you haven't seen them or if it's been a while, I highly recommend doing so, starting with Godzilla (2014) and Kong: Skull Island.  Also be sure to stay tuned during/after the credits of Kong and King of the Monsters for additional content and previews of battles to come in future films.

Hopefully this movie will tide us over until the final film releases next year.  Until then, LETS GET READY TO CRUMBLE!!!!
