Pierre75 0 Posted February 2, 2020 ID:1359950 Share Posted February 2, 2020 @exile360, think the problem is that I do not have a subscription to YouTube through Google. I clicked on FRONTLINE and received the message. Make sense???
exile360 253 Posted February 2, 2020 ID:1359951 Share Posted February 2, 2020 I don't know, I'm able to watch it without logging into YouTube or Google, though it may be a regional thing as it is from PBS. Here's their channel page: https://www.youtube.com/user/PBSfrontline/videos

Can't say I blame them as it is their property. 👍
exile360 253 Posted February 3, 2020 ID:1360113 Share Posted February 3, 2020 Man, that's a bummer. That is one frustrating thing about the modern web, all the region locked content. I understand why but it's still frustrating.

exile360 253 Posted February 24, 2020 ID:1364088 Share Posted February 24, 2020 I just watched Brightburn, Spider-Man: Far from Home, and Venom. They were each pretty good in their own way but Venom was my favorite by far. I really hope the do a proper sequel, though I don't know what the current status is on the whole Sony/Disney/Marvel licensing thing going on with them. I was thinking that Sony actually did a pretty good job with Spider-Man originally and some of their X-Men properties were pretty good so I think it might be neat to see what they can do together if they were to team up on future projects, allowing Sony to produce films which branch off of and intersect with the larger Disney MCU, like working with their primary show-runners/bible writers (like Kevin Feige, assuming he's still in charge over there) to greenlight which characters/villains they can use and how they might make their films mesh with the overall stories going on in the primary Marvel Cinematic Universe, though they would need to do a much better job than what they did with their own side properties like Agents of Shield and the various Netflix series which could barely be considered part of the MCU, if at all considering certain major omissions/contradictions/issues (not to mention just the overall lack of interaction between the two and the total absence of all of the shows' characters/heroes during major events on the big screen). That said, I wouldn't mind if they kept Venom as its own thing, in its own 'universe' separated from the MCU since things have gotten a lot more crowded over there, not to mention the fact that any time you have a larger universe/continuity in something like that it can make it hard for things to be 'astonishing' when everyone in the world has already experienced superheroes, teams of superheroes, tons of supervillians, aliens, magic and all that (something they kind of actually poke fun at in the latest Spider-Man film which I appreciated). David H. Lipman 103 Posted February 24, 2020 ID:1364109 Share Posted February 24, 2020 (edited) I saw Brightburn last month. It was a different Sci-Fi/Horror movie and was pretty good. What made it good was Elizabeth Banks. This was different for her as she is mostly known for performing in comedies. Edited February 24, 2020 by David H. Lipman
exile360 253 Posted February 24, 2020 ID:1364116 Share Posted February 24, 2020 I also watched The Running Man, a true classic and one of my favs from way back. Elizabeth Banks is great, and I especially loved her rather over-the-top performance as Rita Repulsa in Power Rangers, such an excellent dramatic role and truly worthy of an Academy Award! exile360 253 Posted March 5, 2020 ID:1365934 Share Posted March 5, 2020 I recently watched The Death and Return of Superman which is an edited together version of the two films The Death of Superman and Reign of the Supermen, both of which I highly recommend (though they should be watched in order of course as they are direct sequels). They are a part of the current New 52 based DC Animated Universe series of films which started (sort of) with the film Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox which reset the existing DCA universe which had been based loosely on the 90s and prior DC properties and set things in the more modern New 52 style universe which officially kicked off with the film Justice League War and has been an ongoing film series for the past several years.
