Help. Malware and/or hacker got into pc- programs wont help

Recommended Posts

I see there was no action taken with Malwarebytes, that is ok because all entries were already in quarantine...

OK we can clean up, Before we can remove the folder from FRST we have to deal with its quarantine folder. do the following:

Download attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop, or the folder you saved FRST into.

NOTE. It's important that both FRST and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work.

Run FRST/FRST64 and press the Fix button just once and wait.

The tool will make a log on the Desktop (Fixlog.txt). post that log in next reply...

When that is complete Delete this file C:\Users\DMG\Downloads\FRST64.exe  Also this folder C:\FRST

Next,

Delete the following rom the Desktop or the folder you saved them to:

RogueKiller,

RK_Quarantine

Security Checks.

Any logs related to the above tools...

Next,

Uninstall adwcleaner.exe

  •   Please close all open programs and internet browsers.
  •   Double click on adwcleaner.exe to run the tool.
  •   Click on Uninstall
  • Click Yes at Would you like to Uninstall Adwcleaner

Let me know if those steps complete, also if any remaining issues or concerns...

Kevin....

Hi again. Sorry for taking a time in replying, and the thread was locked meanwhile, I was not at home and busy.

Here is the file attached that you requested! I don't know if this question belongs into this forum, since I am not sure whether it is hardware or software related problem. But I still experience the lag online(in online games and web surfing its quite frustrating), programs crashing often and I noticed some accesories like headset, sound system and monitor having connection problems(that I didn't have before). I see red dots, lines and monitor turning itself on/off, headset and speakers(although having different plug holes) are doing the same. Is it just a weird coincidence...

Im going to run tomorrow some heat/torture tests on hardware.

noticed another thing before, game client(league of legends) had after the automatic game patch(thats when it started acting weird) different loading screen logo than it did before. I thought its just part of the patch, but I recently re-installed the program and now it looks and feels just the same as before the patch.

What is the status of your system now, any changes?

Run the following:

Download Junkware Removal tool from this link:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/junkware-removal-tool/

Save to your desktop.

  • Shut down your Security Protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.
  • Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista or Seven, right-mouse click it and select Run as Administrator. Follow prompts as they come.
  • The tool will open and start scanning your system. (Press any key when prompted to continue)
  • Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications.
  • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
  • Post JRT.txt to your next message.

Next,

Open Malwarebytes, check for updates then run a FULL scan, post that log..

The Malwarebytes log indicates "No Action taken" When you run a scan with MB you need to take action on any found entries, Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.

That way all entries are removed. There has not been any infection identified up to now, but plenty of unwanted Adware..

As JRT failed run the following:

Download AdwCleaner by Xplode from here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ and save to your Desktop.

  • Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
  • Vista/Windows 7/8 users right-click and select Run As Administrator
  • Click on the Scan button.
  • AdwCleaner will begin...be patient as the scan may take some time to complete.
  • When it's done you'll see: Pending: Uncheck any elements you don't want removed.
  • Now click on the Report button...a logfile (AdwCleaner[R0].txt) will open in Notepad for review.
  • Look over the log especially under Files/Folders for any program you want to save.
  • If there's a program you want to save, just uncheck it from AdwCleaner.
  • If you're not sure, post the log for review.
  • If you're ready to clean it all up.....click the Clean button.
  • After rebooting, a logfile report (AdwCleaner[s0].txt) will open automatically.
  • Copy and paste the contents of that logfile in your next reply.
  • A copy of that logfile will also be saved in the C:\AdwCleaner folder.
  • Items that are deleted are moved to the Quarantine Folder: C:\AdwCleaner\Quarantine
  • To restore an item that has been deleted (if necessary):
  • Go to Tools > Quarantine Manager > check what you want restored > now click on Restore.

Next,

Run Malwarebytes again, check for updates and run Quick scan, ensure any found entries are checked and deleted...

Post logs, let me know if any remaining issues or concerns..

Kevin
