Server 2008

Recommended Posts

I am not sure if my Server is infected.  My Partition D Drive has changed the drive letter from D to *.  Computer Management wont let me change it back.  I have been fighting the Zero Access and the autorun.inf on computers in my network.  I was going to install Enterprise of your product today and I can't because my network drive is not accessable.

Can I run the rootkit on a server?

Thanks,

Deb

Hello Deb

As this is a business and network server I would have to assume that this is heavily impacting your business and you may need to seek advice to have someone come onsite in order to get things back up and running in a timely manner.

Our product should run on Server 2008 but please make sure you do have backups as rootkit and malware removal can sometimes have unexpected results causing either a non boot issue or data loss.
