Is there a way to choose with HDD to scan? I would like to be able to run this on an external drive to check for traces or find rootkits. Probably not possible since my understanding of rookits is that they need a live OS to activate. If this question is noob, or bad, feel free to let me know. Otherwise, this would be a great added feature for investigation.

Hi sonic49er. Since MBAR is designed for rootkit detection, and rootkits are typically something that affects the OS drive, scans of other hdd are not needed for this purpose.

If you want to scan other HDD on a system, you can do so using a Full Scan with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, then select the target drive.

Thank you.
