UAC question.

So, I noticed today that when I opened task manager UAC didn't prompt me like it always does when I ask to see all processes running( I was trying to figure out why I was using 90% of physical memory, turns out it was steam.). Anyway my question is how come it stopped prompting me, other programs still get the prompt, but for some reason task managers vanished.

Sounds like you UAC has been turned off for now.

Navigate to the Control Panel > Users > User Access Control, Move the Slider Bar to recommended Position (2nd Position from the Top) and Reboot.

But it is on, and it works for all other programs, like if I open malwarebytes it prompts me. Also that was the first thing I checked was to see if it was turned off. and its on default. Hence my confusion
