I just bought a new PC and would like to migrate the malwarebytes software from tho old to the new PC. What do I have to do?

Are you using the free or paid versions?

If it's the free version, simply download it on the new pc and install it.

If it's the paid version, seeing as it's a lifetime lisence I'd assume it's transferrable providing you only have it active on one machine at a time (IE don't have both computers registered at once)

I'm using the paid version with ID and key and all.

I hope it is transferable, but I don't know HOW to do it. I copied the complete files via stick to the new computer and tried to install it there, but that didn't work.

I'm fairly certain all you need to do is write down your registration info from within the program interface under the Protection tab and then uninstall it from that PC, then download the software from one of the following locations:

Download.com

MajorGeeks

SecurityWonks

GT500.org

Then install it and enter your license info under the Protection tab by clicking on the Register button. Once that's done, it should successfully migrate your license as long as the software isn't active on 2 or more systems simultaneously.
