Hi and welcome:

 

This is a very old thread.

But it is still the case that some AVs complain about the presence of other security applications during installation.

This is more about "marketing" than about "compatibility", per se.

(But I've never heard of this happening just to DOWNLOAD the AV.)

 

So, yes, if need be, just temporarily uninstall MBAM before installing TM or another AV, that's OK.

You ought to be able to reinstall it after you get the AV up and running.
