No Joy - tried everything recommended in the FAQ

No Joy - tried everything recommended in the FAQ and even downloaded to a 32GB flash drive with the scan still hanging. All the tabs work except scan. Chameleon - does NOT get a scan started in 12 tries. Safe mode - NO GO.

 

What's next? I do have a registry cleaner that will remove every file, driver and DLL associated with a program. It has been a life saver in the past when a program uninstall utility left traces which caused problems on later re-install attempts.

I really don't understand what exactly is the problem. Your MBAM freezing while scan a flash drive?
