Accordingly, I uninstalled that software and I am monitoring the internet traffic on my machine with Fiddler Web Debugger (http://fiddler2.com/). Although it is a bit early to tell, it seems that the problem was resolved. I will need to wait another 24 hours to be sure. Note that the uninstall of Messenger Plus crashed when it removed the program. I will need to clean it up. Thanks Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
