Does anyone know how to make the computer not lock after a period of time?

Lock up or sleep?   If it is locking up while not sleeping or hibernating then that is possibly hardware issue or maybe an infection.

Please run the following scanner and send back the logs.

Download DDS from one of the locations below and save to your Desktop
dds.scr
dds.com

Temporarily disable your Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware
How To Temporarily Disable Your Anti-virus, Firewall And Anti-malware Programs

Once downloaded you can disconnect from the Internet and disable your Ant-Virus temporarily if needed.
Then double click dds.scr or dds.com to run the tool.
Click the Run button if prompted with an Open File - Security Warning dialog box.
A black DOS console should open and run for a moment.

  • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
    • DDS.txt
    • Attach.txt
  • Save both reports to your desktop
  • Please include the following logs in your next reply as an attachment: DDS.txt and Attach.txt
  • You can ignore the note about zipping the Attach.txt file.

I don't mean as in stop working, I mean it goes back to the login screen if it's idle too long. Like when you first turn on your computer, you put in a password or just press enter and you start up.?

Thanks and instead of starting a new thread I wanna talk here, there's a problem happening with my firefox atm.. I was playing this game and I didn't do anything with the full screen but now firefox overlaps everything and I can't see the task bar at the bottom anymore unless I minimize firefox... Same with the game.

actually, I have lots of important bookmarks and stuff on here. And the problem is, if i make firefox fullscreen, the task bar dissapears...

and if i play my game without fullscreen theres a little chat button at the bottom and it's overlapped by the task bar.. I think this problem's happening with the task bar?
