Are you sure it's 372 and not 732 ?

Can you please show us a screen shot of this error message.

Please create an mbam-check log:

  • Download mbam-check.exe from here and save it to your desktop
  • Double-click on mbam-check.exe to run it, it should then open a log file
  • Please do not copy and paste the entire contents of the log into your next post, instead please attach the log CheckResults.txt file which should now be located on your desktop to your next post

Originally it showed some items in the registry under HKCU software policies microsoft system certificates.....

I took care of those and reran.

Now it shows HKLM software microsoft windows currentversion setup PnpLockdownFiles and a couple of C:\ProgramData\mocrosoft\windows\sqm\upload\pnrpResolvSession0.sqm lines

There are also some duplicate C:\users\public\desktop.ini lines which repeat.

STEP 2

Okay, now run the MBAM CLEAN removal process and remove the program, but DO NOT reinstall the program just yet.

Then reboot the computer 2 times after the removal and again run the MBAM CHECK tool and post back the new log file.

Due to extensive damage to the operating system and in reviewing the current information and what you've been working on previously I really think the best thing to do is back up all your user data such as images, documents, videos, email, etc to an external device and then do a factory restore back to the original way the computer came.

If there is no factory image then you may be able to obtain a restore DVD from the manufacturer or look at possibly purchasing an OEM Windows 7 DVD to install a new clean, fresh install of Windows.

As such I will go ahead and close this topic now.

Best wishes and if you do need help with reinstalling Windows please let us know.
