MBEE on a terminal server?

Hi

 

Looking to deploy MB EE across multiple client sites with a central admin console. so a couple of questions..

 

1.  Will the client run OK on a terminal server (2008, 2008 R2 and 2012)

2. How do the clients report back to the central console?  The central server will be in a data centre not directly connected to the LANs where the clients will be installed so need to know that we can still have the clients reporting back to the server by opening specific ports on the firewall.

Hi Nathan,

 

Those are questions that you should pose to your Sales representative as they should have the most up to date information on the product.

 

Previous versions could not support clients that are not part of a connected LAN/WAN but that may or may not be the case anymore.

 

Let your Sales representative know if your Terminal Server is publishing applications or Remote Desktop as well.
