Trojan - svchost.exe

Hi All,

 

I have a friend's laptop that has been infected with a trojan and I can't seem to remove it.  The trojan has infected the PC to the point that access to internet is impossible so I downloaded Malwarebytes from the web onto a USB memory stick and installed on machine.  It recognizes the trojans but will not remove them after restart as prompted.  I found this thread and have followed the instructions.  Files are attached.  Please advise if you can offer any assistance.

I would advice you to disconnect this PC from the Internet immediately. If you do any banking or other financial transactions on the PC or if it should contain any other sensitive information, please get to a known clean computer and change all passwords where applicable, and it would be wise to contact those same financial institutions to apprise them of your situation.

Though the infection has been identified and can be killed, because of it's backdoor functionality, your PC is very likely compromised and there is no way to be sure your computer can ever again be trusted. Many experts in the security community believe that once infected with this type of trojan, the best course of action would be a reformat and reinstall of the OS. Hi Borislav.  Since this is not my laptop and I was willing to help a friend I will let him make that decision and run from there.  I will say that this laptop does not have any access to network.  The wireless and wired network adaptors don't appear to work.  It also won't run windows in normal mode.  Safe mode only.  Since there does appear to be a security threat however, I will leave the decision to him.  If he decides to proceed I'll post back here.  Thank you for the help and advice!
