Pallanon Posted August 2, 2013 ID:710364 Share Posted August 2, 2013 Well low and behold I was surfing the internet and it popped up, not thinking I clicked on it. The only thing that saved me was Malwarebytes Pro, it flagged out going issues right away and it got me on the path of disinfecting my computer. Also have system mech pro that did not catch anything and is a whole different story. To clean the system I followed the great directions here, rootkill, hitman pro and of course Malwarebytes pro. I thought I had my system clean but when I ran system mech pro the virus scan would not complete, stopped responding. Called them and of course they want me to pay more money for a senior tech to help get some missing vista exe repaired. I told them no way and after checking out the microsoft web site they recommend my run at the cmd promt sfc /scannow Ran it and it said it repaired/fixed some items and posted a log in windows/log/cbs Would like to make sure my system is clean and running great any help would be appreciated ThanksPall Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
