URGENT HELP REQD - SVCHOST.EXE IN WINDOWS\WOW64 - TROJAN OR VIRUS? COMPUTER UPLOADING-DL'G HIGH RATE! FIREWALL NOT STOPPING IT.

HI ....

I have found a svchost.exe file in my windows\wow64 folder. i'm using a legitimate copy of windows 7 home premium. the file is 20.5kb.

It is NOT picked up on malwarebytes but my computer is uploading/downloading at high rates and I cannot address this. I think this file is suspicious. it should point to a legitimate copy of the svchost.exe file in the System32 folder BUT Neuber's Svchostanalyzer is picking this up as suspicious.

 

Please help. Should I delete it? What to do?

Please download and run RogueKiller 32 bit to your desktop.

RogueKiller<---use this one for 64 bit systems

Quit all running programs.

For Windows XP, double-click to start.

For Vista or Windows 7-8, do a right-click on the program, select Run as Administrator to start, & when prompted Allow to run.

Click Scan to scan the system.

When the scan completes > Close out the program > Don't Fix anything!

Don't run any other options, they're not all bad!!!!!!!

Post back the report which should be located on your desktop.
