Not sure if I can be assisted with this here, but I'm deciding to post on here because I can't seem to find a solution to the problem. When I start my computer up I've been getting this message.

msseces.exe - Application Error

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application.

This is in regards to Microsoft Security Essentials as it will not start, and thus I have no anti-virus protection. Assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not understanding what you're suggesting exactly. I thought posting this topic on here was just what your suggestion is, Me looking for experts to assist me with looking into my issue. I have been assisted on here with 2 issues in the past, but that specifically involved specific malware. I assumed I would be assisted with this just as I was with my other problems I had.

Hello, jaiz: :)

Until AdvancedSetup returns...

What he was saying is that the errors you are experiencing may be due to infection and/or their repair will require some in-depth scanning and tools that are not used in this particular sub-section of the forum.

So, just as with the two previous infections you had, please do the following, in order to get free help with cleaning/repairing your system in the appropriate area of the forum:

  1. Please read and follow the advice in this pinned topic: Available Assistance for Possibly Infected Computers
  2. Then, please start a NEW post with the requested logs in the malware removal section of the forum >>HERE<<.

A qualified malware expert will guide you through the scanning, cleanup and repair process.

Thanks very much for your patience and understanding,
