How to disable auto update?

Recommended Posts

~ I love Malwarebytes and just went PRO , but often, its "always" updating . One of the ways I would know is if It's using a a lot of memory usuage . Malwarebytes(Before the pro version) would have to wait for me to manually update it which I like, the pro version doesn't let me do it myself . Is there a step for me to go and switch it back to manual? thanks  in advance

Why not just change the scheduling to once every 4, 8 or 12 hrs or once per day ?

~ Hello David , thanks for replying . And I never thought of that since I always figured there was a an off and on switch whether you want auto update or manual , I'm only used to the standard version so I don't know how thigns works yet . Cheers

Launch Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

Find the Settings tab and choose it.

Find the Scheduler Settings tab and choose it.

Find Edit at the bottom and choose it.

Change the Frequency: and Repeating every: settings to what you desire and then find and choose Save.

In my below example I am updating the program once per hour.
