win7 keeps getting error msg and keeps restarting after updating Adobe Flash Player

After innocently clicking on a message to update Adobe Flash Player (and getting the Adobe web page that installation was successful) I now keep getting a windows (7) error message that win7 needs to restart.  This is happening sporadically like within a few mintues of restart to several minutes of restart.  I took a printscreen of the message and had Task Manager open to the Processes tab.  My question is if this could be a virus or malware (or is it possibly just a win 7 OS problem?).  I ran CCleaner, defragged.  Thanks for any replies.

Hello and :welcome:

Please run the following scanner and send back the logs.

Download DDS from one of the locations below and save to your Desktop
dds.scr
dds.com

Temporarily disable any script blocker if your Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware has it.
How To Temporarily Disable Your Anti-virus, Firewall And Anti-malware Programs

Once downloaded you can disconnect from the Internet and disable your Ant-Virus temporarily if needed.
Then double click dds.scr or dds.com to run the tool.
Click the Run button if prompted with an Open File - Security Warning dialog box.
A black DOS console should open and run for a moment.

When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
  1. DDS.txt
  2. Attach.txt

  • Save both reports to your desktop
  • Please include the following logs in your next reply as an attachment: DDS.txt and Attach.txt
You can ignore the note about zipping the Attach.txt file

Thanks

Mysteriously the problem appears to have gone away.  But I also have a win7 snippet tool that is not working correctly with Outlook. It was working this morning, now not working.  I think the IT guy over here is messing with me :).  (seriously -  if that is in fact the case he trying make me look bad, I am amused because he wasting his time - could this be the case ?  I hope it is).

The IT guy had me run Trend micro antivirus scan.  But the workstation shut itself down (or so one would think).  When I told the guy this he said he would fix it himself (right, mysteriously it was fixed in a minute -- as in he stopped tweaking the workstation).  Now he's videoing all my activity (lol).  Anyway, the rest is just politics and drama.  I think the real virus is my boss :)
