[SOLVED] Bug with new version

Firefox

Recommended Posts

Here is a bug I like to report with the new version.... I tested this on three computers and it does the same thing.....

Win7 64bit, IE10

With IE10 and the Google Toolbar installed, if I click on the search window in the Google toolbar to start a search, it causes IE to crash.

If I exit MBAE IE and the toolbar work as intended.

If I try to re-launch MBAE from the start menu (on one computer) I get an error that states:

Cannot start Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit Driver, the Anti-Exploit process will be terminated.

2- Close all shielded apps.

3- Close if present the process mbae.exe. If you can't close post the error msg.

4- Uninstall from control panel.

5- Delete %ProgramFiles%\Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit

6- Reboot

7- Install the 1400 build.

OK followed your instructions.....

This is what I got in the command window....

c:\Program Files\Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit\mbae-uninstall.exe

Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit has been successfully stopped

Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit Task hs not been successfully uninstalled, you have to remove it manually...

Then I tried to re-install but got the same error: Cannot start Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit Driver, the Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit process will be terminated

Here is something I tried.... I uninstalled, rebooted and installed an older version and that worked. I then uninstalled that version, and then installed this latest beta. I not is installed and working.

Not the only glitch is if I try and use the google toolbar to do a search in IE it crashes the browser window.... (toolbar like in the image below)
