Internet wont work after malware virus attack.

Hi im new here but i need help i had a malware virus on friends computer, his computer isnt new or anything but i was able to get rid of the virus using malwarebytes remover thing, but now his internet icon becomes unusable and the internet wont work on chrome or mozilla. Is there anyway yall can help me with this?? PLEASE HELP. Thank You.
