Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I have the exact same problem as the user in this locked thread: http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=106149

We both had trojans showing up in MBAM which wasn't detected by our own antivirus systems. Turns out both of us were using an application called Folder lock, likewise when I turned off its capabilities, the detected malware n trojan disappeared in subsequent MBAM scans.

Just to be completely sure, has anyone else experienced this or a similar problem?

Hi,

Yes, there's some incompatibility issue with Folderlock and malwarebytes causing "ghost detections" by malwarebytes.

That's why I recommend to exclude the directories you've put "folder lock" on from Malwarebytes scan. After all, since you've put a lock on these, malware won't be able to get in there either since you've locked access for these.

Thanks for the reply, I agree. Are there any other programs with known incompatibilities? It can be scary seeing this "trojans" flagged and repeatedly showing up on scans despite cleaning and rebooting. Perhaps maybe in the FAQ section, such programs could be compiled in a list?
