Slow bandwidth

Recommended Posts

Similar problem, observed on 2 of 4 computers here.  With website blocking enabled, network traffic is extremely slow and causes a CPU spike of the System process -- specifically, the "interrupts" component.  It's tolerable when you're just web browsing, but large LAN file-transfers (which would normally take a minute or two) take hours, and render the computer completely unusable in the meantime.

The affected computers have Realtek GBE family NICs, static IP addresses, and the Windows firewall disabled -- but so do the other computers.

Downgrading to version 1.70 fixes the problem.

Hi, Peregate: :)

Investigating and resolving this for you will require a peek under the hood for your systems, with some diagnostic logs.

The most efficient way to get assistance with this -- especially if you have multiple affected computers -- is probably to open a ticket at the help desk.

If you are a home user with a consumer license(s), please submit a ticket here: Contact Consumer Support

If you are corporate/business/enterprise/retail user, please submit a ticket here: Contact Corporate Support

Hope this helps to get you started,
