DNS poisoning by Hackers in Malaysia

I am a fellow Malaysia and I am using Google DNS. However, this morning Google Malaysia slowed down and ultimately could not be accessed. All my fellow colleagues were confused as to why they couldn't access the internet since the default page is www.google.com.my. Upon finding more information, I found out that Google DNS has been "poisoned", redirecting the page to some unknown server.
