I've been having some trouble with my computer; it switches MY browser for suspicious ones, my computer is acting super slow (for my computer anyway), so I tried to delete the weird browser and it won't let me. My cousin suggested that I download Malwarebytes, and now I'm pretty sure that the malware is preventing me from getting the anti-malware software on my computer. All I'm getting is error messages. I don't know what to do. It's frustrating because my computer has never been buggy before. Need help.....

Hello and welcome, morethanu: :)

It's certainly possible the malware could be preventing the download and install.

If you think you might be infected, please follow the recommendations in this pinned topic: Available Assistance For Possibly Infected Computers.

A qualified helper will guide you through the cleanup process.

>>If the infection has so crippled the system that you are unable to install/run even the preliminary DDS tool, then just go ahead and start a new post in the malware removal section anyway.

Just explain that you are unable to download the tools.  The experts will have some additional tools and tricks to use to help get you cleaned up.

Thanks,
