So Malwarebytes has been giving me this False Positives. When I uncheck the box for windows Security Center

to alert me for automatic updates. It would also reset a check mark in the box and I would have to reset it over and over until I found out what the problem was.

Malware also does this , if you are an advanced user that wishes to disable this protection please use the ignore option and it will never be detected again .
Oh is that so, I did have a problem with a virus and I have it removed now. so maybe thats how it started.

But now it just keeps knocking that setting out, so like you say I have placed it as an ignored option.

Its a good thing it is telling you as SP3 has been available for almost a year and has several Critical Updates.

You should at least have Security Center Notify you that there are updates but not download or install them.

Run Secunia Online Software Inspector to see what other applications are vulnerable:

B) Windows 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2: Yeah I am a little behind the times when it comes to this one computer.

Its my secondary comp. and I don't do a lot of stuff on it.
