akaedis Posted June 21, 2013 ID:694119 Share Posted June 21, 2013 Hello, so i am using the free trial edition of malware bytes, just on my spare PC, not the greatest or important machine ever but, when going to scan after downloading a couple game files, i noticed that malware bytes just skipped about 21,000 files, is there any reason for this? Should i be worryed or what? (If anything ill reformat but id prefer not to). Aswell when i woke up this morning i found that MY windows account(that is passworded) was logged in & about a dozen porn sites were loaded + facebook, so is this a virus or what? + smart defrag 2 page was open...(Running full scan atm to see for any virus's, just would like to get an answer really soon...) Firefox Posted June 21, 2013 ID:694126 Share Posted June 21, 2013 Cant tell you about your account without looking as some logs.... perhaps you can run the tool below and provide the log files and we can review them.... Please run the following scanner and send back the logs. Download DDS from one of the locations below and save to your Desktop dds.scr dds.com Temporarily disable any script blocker if your Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware has it. How To Temporarily Disable Your Anti-virus, Firewall And Anti-malware Programs Once downloaded you can disconnect from the Internet and disable your Ant-Virus temporarily if needed. Then double click dds.scr or dds.com to run the tool Click the Run button if prompted with an Open File - Security Warning dialog box. A black DOS console should open and run for a moment. When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:DDS.txtAttach.txtSave both reports to your desktopPlease include the following logs in your next reply: DDS.txt and Attach.txt You can ignore the note about zipping the Attach.txt file in most cases. Root Admin AdvancedSetup Posted June 21, 2013 Root Admin ID:694127 Share Posted June 21, 2013 If you suspect the computer may be infected then do the following. I would suggest following the advice from the topic here Available Assistance for Possibly Infected Computers and having one of the Experts assist you with looking into your issue.
