cURL.exe

Hi,

Daniel Stenberg's utility : cURL.exe http://curl.haxx.se/download.html#Win32 (7.19.4-win32-nossl and previous) is detected by MBAM as "Trojan.Agent".

Is it possible to correct this false problem, please ?

We'll need to get a current, up to date scan with MBAM using the developer log:

Click Start>>select Run>>>type mbam.exe /developer

Please note there is a space between the 'mbam.exe' & '/developer'

This will open MBAM, first select the 'quick scan' option then click scan. Once completed, send us that log

This will give us the detailed code of each file, from which we can make adjustments to our detection strings. Without it, we cannot make those adjustments.

I can't do this, I'm not using any microsoft operating system

Is there any other way ?

You have a report of this file being detected . Have whoever made this report use MBAM to create a developers log .

here is the discussion :

C:\Documents and Settings\zigouigoui\Bureau\GenProc\GenProc\outil\curl.exe (Trojan.Agent) -> Quarantined and deleted successfully.
