fivealive Posted June 7, 2013 ID:688508 Share Posted June 7, 2013 I have been having this issue with updating my geforce gt 55m drivers thru the control panel, when I Try and bring up the updater from the control panel to update I get the following error(see picture).on top of that I have a error message in the event viewer I am positive is related:The nvUpdatusService service was unable to log on as .\UpdatusUser with the currently configured password due to the following error: Logon failure: the specified account password has expired. To ensure that the service is configured properly, use the Services snap-in in Microsoft Management Console (MMC).I have no idea how to fix this, any help would be greatly appreciated.thank youFiveaive Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

fivealive Posted June 7, 2013 Author ID:688519 Share Posted June 7, 2013 I just did that twice, didn't work the first time, seems they changed the update system in the new drivers. I am curious in the services menu for windows if I can change it's log on options from .\UpdatusUser to local system account, because the issue seems to be expiring passwords.
