sz100 Posted June 4, 2013 ID:687307 Share Posted June 4, 2013 Since some Rogue Security Software may damage file associations, and after they are removed, when the users click on Internet Explorer, or any other files, a dialog box pop up, asking about what would they like to open Internet Explorer with. I hope that one day, Malwarebytes will have a tool that will fix broken file associations, and after the users run this tool, all the file associations are restored.
