Well that says the installer service is not even running. Which would certainly cause other issues as well for installs.

I think you should run the following again so that we can get another look at your system.

Please run the following scanner and send back the logs.

Download DDS from one of the locations below and save to your Desktop

dds.scr

dds.com

Temporarily disable any script blocker if your Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware has it.

How To Temporarily Disable Your Anti-virus, Firewall And Anti-malware Programs

Once downloaded you can disconnect from the Internet and disable your Ant-Virus temporarily if needed.

Then double click dds.scr or dds.com to run the tool.

Click the Run button if prompted with an Open File - Security Warning dialog box.

A black DOS console should open and run for a moment.

When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
  1. DDS.txt
  2. Attach.txt

  • Save both reports to your desktop
  • Please include the following logs in your next reply: DDS.txt and Attach.txt
You can ignore the note about zipping the Attach.txt file in most cases.

Next, Please download MiniToolBox save it to your desktop and run it.

Checkmark the following check-boxes:

  • Flush DNS
  • Report IE Proxy Settings
  • Reset IE Proxy Settings
  • Report FF Proxy Settings
  • Reset FF Proxy Settings
  • List content of Hosts
  • List IP configuration
  • List Winsock Entries
  • List last 10 Event Viewer log
  • List Installed Programs
  • List Devices
  • List Users, Partitions and Memory size.
  • List Minidump Files

Click Go and post the result (Result.txt). A copy of Result.txt will be saved in the same directory the tool is run.

Note: When using Reset FF Proxy Settings option Firefox should be closed.

In Message 35:

No you do not have to Manage the service everytime, you just had to disable it one time, reboot and then go back one more time and put it back to Manual.

Every time I reboot - TrayApp is there again. Also, I get error Office.

I follow instruction:

My computer - right

Manage - left

Window installer - disable

Reboot

My computer - right

Manage - left

Window Installer - Manuel

In post 51:

I did :

dds.scr
dds.com

Has anyone looked at these never got back to me what to do next!

Yes you are suppose to do something else, you need to follow the instructions exactly as stated in Post #41 ...

It does not say to only extracted and leave it in C:\ there are more instructions after that..... have to do all steps before it can be corrected.

Go back to post #47

In that post, and previous posts, I wrote I wanted the MSI file contained in the ZIP file in post #38 to be extracted to the root of drive "C:" as in C:\trayapp.msi .

Let me make an allegorical comparison.

Carla wants to use your hairbrush.  She says she she will come by at 7:PM and asks that you leave the hairbrush on the kitchen table.  However, the hair brush is in your pocketbook.  Carla will NOT be able to pick up the hair brush at 7:PM unless you take the hairbrush out of the pocketbook and place it on the kitchen table when she arrives at 7:PM.

Carla is synonymous to the Installer Dialogue requesting trayapp.msi where trayapp.msi is the hairbrush and the pocketbook is the ZIP file.

As long as the hairbrush remains in the pocketbook and not placed on the kitchen table prior to 7:PM, Carla will be unable to find the hairbrush to use it.

As long as the file trayapp.msi file is not extracted from the ZIP file to the root of drive "C:" { C:\trayapp.msi }, then the Installer Dialogue requesting trayapp.msi will be unable to use the file when it requests it via the pop-up you've seen.

Your last message was way too confusing.

Why are you referring to #47 & 38 which I have already done!

When I click on use source Browse, I get Open window I go to My computer click on C:\

File Name: TrayApp

File Type: Installation Package (*.MSI)

How to you unzip the file?

I also, click on my computer then to HP Pavillion C:

Found 2 listed:

TrayApp   - click on this & new window pops up. Click on the 1st on & window closes.

TrayApp.msi  - click on this & new window pops up. Click on the 2nd on & window closes.

TrayApp.msi - 8.bmp

TrayApp.msi - 7.bmp

TrayApp.msi - 5.bmp

TrayApp.msi - 6.bmp

I am still NOT getting the kind of responses back from you so I know what your exact problem is in trying to implement a resolution.

Go to;  Control Panel --> Folder options --> View

"Uncheck" the box next to "Hide extension of known file types"

Then click on the button near the top "Apply to Folders"

Then I want you to go to "My Computer" and Double-Click on the "C:" drive.

Then I want you to capture the screen showing what Files and Folders are in "C:" as you see below...

( Note:  This is from a Vista PC and the screen has been censored and will not be what you see )

As I thought, the file trayapp.msi is not located in the root of "C:" as requested.

Therefore your statement below is not correct and why you have been repeatedly requested to go back to those previous instructional posts.

"Why are you referring to #47 & 38 which I have already done!"

You have two ZIP files trayapp.msi.zip and trayapp.zip there instead.

The file trayapp.msi must be copied or moved out of trayapp.zip and placed in the root of drive "C:" so the Installer Process that requests it can find it.

I want you to Double-Click on C:\trayapp.zip and make the view a window

I want you to Double-Click on "My Computer" and make the view a window

Now arrange those two windows, as below, to be shown Side-by-Side as I have done below...

post-14644-0-61498800-1372459796_thumb.j

Now Drag & Drop the file trayapp.msi in the Right-Window (as shown above) on top of the "C:" drive shown in the Left-Window

In the Left-Window "My Computer" view, Double-Click on the "C:" drive.

Here is what I see when I "extracted" the file trayapp.msi to the root of my "C:" drive and compare that to the same view in Post #68

( Here the file trayapp.msi is present, in the graphic in Post #68, before extraction, it is not present )

post-14644-0-60298900-1372460975_thumb.j

Now compare that to what you see for the Files and Folders of YOUR "C:" drive.

You should see trayapp.msi as you see in my above graphic.

In Post #41 I stated "That means no short blurb answers"

Your reply was just a short blurb and is why "I am still NOT getting the kind of responses back from you so I know what your exact problem is in trying to implement a resolution."

Please communicate.

What did you get ?

What did you do ?

What happened or or what did you experience ?

post-14644-0-73940100-1372537513_thumb.j

Have you then gone back to Post #41 and forced the condition where Installer Process requests trayapp.msi, as above, and actually gone through the process ?
