Failure to detect TDSServ

MABM is failing to detect and clean a Rootkit.TDSServ infection on a machine where SUPERAntiSpyware is spotting it.

SUPERAntiSpyware removes this, but after a reboot or two it makes its way back.

SAS is not taking out the whole infection and hence why it is restoriing itself.

I've been reading your little walkthroughs Ade, VERY GOOD JOB B)

The only way I was aware of removing things like this was slaving the HDD and scanning from another PC...that usually works. But this I THINK would save some time!

If you look at device manager, and look at hidden/non plug and play devices. Is TDSSys.sys listed there? If so, you may want to disable. Reboot, the run MWB, etc.

There was a left over driver, but for whatever reason SAS appears to have finally done the job. Despite the program coming back after the first five cleans the sixth nailed it. No idea why. I finished the job by deleting the (now broken) driver.
