Warned that trial has expired several times/day

Recommended Posts

According to web forums, you can stop the reminders that your MalwareBytes trial has expired by choosing End Trial. It doesn't seem to work for me. Does anyone know if it is necessary to be logged in to the Administrator account when the reminder occurs before the End Trial option sticks? If so, then I need a way to elicit the reminder at will when logged in as Administrator (since that's more the exception rather than the norm).

Hi, FrackyMacky: :)

We'll need to wait for a staffer to weigh in about the requirement (or not) for being logged in to an Admin account & about "eliciting the reminder at will".

In the interim, is this what you tried:

I keep getting notified that my trial has expired, how do I revert to the free version?

Please let us know if this resolves your issue.

Thanks!

Malwarebytes will always have a free version..... it seems your trial of the PRO has expired. You can perform a clean install as instructed => HERE <= and then when you re-install, make sure to uncheck Enable Free Trial of Malwarebytes Pro as shown in the picture below.

Or you can also try the steps in the KB Article:
I keep getting notified that my trial has expired, how do I revert to the free version?
