Please help. MBAM just found firewalldisablenotify.hijack.securitycenter. I opted to save the log however it didn't save in my MBAM logs as i requested and when i tried to exit or click on anything else it was frozen and asked if i wanted to end the scan. Yet the scan was done. It also does not go to quarantine as other items use to.

I am running Zonealarm as my firewall as well as in router. MBAM, Spybot and AVG.

I have attached the MBAM and HJT logs below

I have perused the forums and seen other similar problems but felt it best to have the experts look at it.

Thanks for your help.

Just to note that I haven't been on the site in months, it looks great.

Hi,

The default security setting should be FirewallDisableNotify = dword 0 and not dword 1.

MBAM restores the default security settings again.

This detection was added recently in MBAM since a lot of malware add it as well. However, some people add it manually, or Security software may modify this. It doesn't mean because MBAM alerts you of this one that you are infected. MBAM just restores it to default again. B)

In case you don't want MBAM to restore it to the default security settings, then select to ignore that detection.

Your log looks clean btw
