exile360 Posted May 31, 2013 ID:685764 Share Posted May 31, 2013 Greetings This is not a false positive. It is classified correctly as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program) as a PSWTool.ProductKey, meaning it's a password and/or license key reading tool. These are sometimes used by malicious hackers and malware in order to steal legitimate license keys and/or passwords from users so we detect it as a potential risk. If the user downloaded the tool and used it deliberately, they may add it to their Ignore List if they do not want it to be detected or they may change the settings for how Malwarebytes Anti-Malware handles PUP detections via the Scanner Settings tab under Settings.
