Skype hacking?

Recommended Posts

Two times today I have noticed two IP addresses being blocked on high port numbers coming from the Skype.com process. Is someone trying to get details?

Attached one such instance. The other was a Netherlands "VPN" IP on a simialr port number: 217.23.9.130

Skype is a kind of Peer-to-Peer (aka P2P) application and you may have Skype contacts that are on IP addresses of possibly malicious addresses or address ranges. Thus MBAM may flag an occasional IP address associated with Skpe (or other P2P software).

That doesn't relate to the concept of hacking.

PS: I see daledoc1 is faster at the keyboard :D
