Malware Bytes and Symantec.Cloud

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm new and searched for symantec.cloud and no results. Anyway my question does Malware Bytes Co-Exist with Symantec.Cloud?

I have many workstations and seemed to work OK for 1 and I've already bought a business license. I would hate to buy more business licenses to discover I have a problem as I have a couple of years left on my Symantec contract.

I'm frustrated with Symantec seems to be like the 2nd best scanner in the world but lets so much through. Sometimes I can with Malware bytes and presto Symantec mostly says the computer is trying to grab a suspicious .png file that can execute from the Internet and blocks it. However it never seems to detect the variants of Z.Bot I seem to be finding re-infecting the computers on our network.

Any advice welcome, don't want to buy 30 copies of Malware bytes to try and kill this nasty Trojan. The trojan is a piece of work because it is trying to download more trojans which is usually detected. Why oh why is one of the best virus scanners in the world if you read their hype shamed by Malware Bytes? Anyway good for Malware bytes as now I'm looking at buying it in addition to Symantec and I know two scanners is a bad idea etc, but no choice really.

Regards,

Speegs
