Malwarebytes log file disable / log size restriction

Hi,

We will be very happy if Malwarebytes comes with feature to disable / restrict log file.

As some of our server is always attacked, and the log file keep growing until 4GB (within a day until restricted by windows file size).

Something like this as in attachment below.

Actually this is typically an indicator of you running the application on a Server 2003 system that does not properly support the Web blocking feature.

You would need to disable the Web blocker on this system.

We have untick the website blocking however the block still occurs and the logs keep growing.

The check box for website blocking not able to tick on windows server 2003. Hence we assume the website blocking is not functioning. However the block still occurs

Well if you're running Server then I have to assume you know what you're doing. Please go into the Registry and change it there. If needed restart the server after the change.

If you need more precise directions please let me know.

While logged on with an Administrator account, Click on START RUN and copy / paste the following and then restart the computer and the Web blocker will be disabled.

REG ADD "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware" /v startipdisabled /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f

The Web blocker does work on thousands of Server 2003 systems but there are also many that it does not run on due to underlying poorly supported API calls and specific different hardware found on various systems.

Main stream support from Microsoft for Server 2003 ended on 7/13/2010 so there simply is no way to really fully support this system on our end either as no new functionality updates will come out from Microsoft.
