Help! something wrong with my pc screen.

So yesterday I was updating my pc as I regularly do, but after the update was complete my computer screen was not the same. It didn't fit the screen correctly and the right side has black bar. It is just a complete mess. I am running on "Window 7".

Reboot the PC.

I have restarted the computer, but nothing happened. I took a picture with my ipad

I don't see anything wrong with the display so it is possible the monitor is not placing the computer output within the constraints of the screen leaving an "empty" black area to the right.

All monitors have contols to adjust the computer output to the screen.

Vertical height - adjust the picture to within the constraint of the top and bottom

Horizontal width - adjust the picture to within the constraint of the left and right

Vertical adjustment - shifts the entire screen view up or down

Horizontal adjustment - shifts the entire screen view left or right

Often there is an "automatic adjustment" that will try to fit the entire screen view within the constraints of the monitor.

All monitors are different in how these controls are used and manipulated but there will be buttons to adjust it that when you hit one button it will show a menu of adjustment options and there will be left, right, up and down arrows buttons to make choices and/or adjustments.

Maybe you still have the monitor manual ?
