Repetitive False Positives?

Keep receiving blocked access message to the following IPs 50.23.124.152, 50.97.218.220, 50.97.214.162

Type is always outgoing. Port - varies. Process - Chrome.exe

ISP for each address is SoftLayer Technologies

Organization - varies

Are these false positives or is my computer infected with a virus? If it matters, I receive the message on various websites. I'm running v2013.04.16.04. Thanks in advance for any help or information that you can provide!

I am also getting these IP address block notifications from my computer. Two other computers I manage at a different location are also experiencing the same issue. The IP addresses are, 50.97.214.162 and 50.23.124.152. I first thought this was random but I noticed it happens when I go to ebay.com. It might happen on other sites too but ebay.com is the only one I have been able to verify.

Well- Maybe it's not the Flash update- I'm running plug-in version 11.7.700.169. I disabled it in Firefox but I still get the nags. I am on a two week old Lenovo with Win 8 with very little to anything installed. I know I got a Win 8 update recently and a Flash update yesterday - and yesterday was my very first nag message from my newly installed M.B. Pro

50.23.124.152

50.97.218.220

50.97.214.162

At this time only on Ebay---

Relieved to read that I am not the only one that has been having this problem. It started last night, and is happening on both computers that have Malwarebytes Pro installed on. When I am on ebay, (I have been a seller for 14 years and spend hours everyday on the site, and this has never happened before) and go to one of my listings or any listing, I keep getting a Malwarebytes bubble notification indicating that it has successfully blocked access to a potential malicious website. Type: outgoing. Process: iexplore.exe. The IP addresses have been 50.97.214.162 and 50.97.218.220, and maybe another one that I didn't write down. I performed a System Restore and used CCleaner to clean out all cookies, etc., but to no avail. I ran a scan with Malwarebytes and Webroot but neither picked up anything.

Needless to say, I would appreciate any help to resolve this issue. Is it possible that ebay is using some banner ads that are causing this problem? Or, are there issues with Softlayer, who appears to be associated with these IP addresses? Or, is this a false positive?

I noticed that the problem was showing up whenever an ad was loading. So I thought I would try installing AdBlock on my web browser. I haven't had an issue since. Not sure if this would be a permanent fix or just a work around. Also, I noticed that this isn't the only thread where this issue is being discussed. The following thread seems to be getting a little more attention if anyone is interested. http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=125174

I may have resolved the issue of Malwarebytes notifications on ebay. I went to my account and "Site Preferences" and under advertising preferences, I opted out of participating in ebay's Adchoice program that uses your information to show you relevant ads on ebay and other sites. I'm guessing that some of those ads are generated from Softlayer servers. In any event, after making the change, I have not (so far) received any Malwarebytes notifications. Keeping my fingers crossed.
